Dublin Pubs at a Glance
Tourists flock to Dublin every year to experience its great culture, friendly people, and most of all...its fantastic beer and many pubs. This is the place to go and have a pint, or two...or five, before stumbling back to your hotel in the wee hours of morning.

Probably the most famous drink Dublin has to offer is its Guinness, a dark stout that has become synonymous with the city. This drink can be found at virtually any pub or restaurant, and it tastes better in Dublin than it will anywhere else in the world. If you've tried this in your hometown from a can and didn't like it, try it again here: guaranteed the second time will be a charm! There are tons of other fantastic brews created right in the city, and many of the pubs make their own house brews, which are usually worth trying as well.

For a classic, old-style pub experience visit McDaid's, located just off Grafton Street. This pub has been around for ages, but it is teeming with charm. Davy Byrne's is another older pub, made famous by Irish writer James Joyce. For a high-class experience, drop by Cafe en Seine, which serves up great brew, and tends to have celebrities stopping in for drinks. O'Donoghue's is a classic Irish pub, and is frequented by both tourists and locals. This is one of Dublin's most famous spots, and serves up the best brew in town. Q-Bar is usually frequented by a younger crowd and has good music quiet alot of space and a modern, trendy feel.

Located not far from Temple bar and Grafton street on Townsend Street you will find the Long Stone Pub. The pub has a great and interesting decor with many little corners where you can sit to enjoy a few pints. The Long Stone has been around since 1754 and has a friendly cosy atmosphere. You can get bar food here throughout the week and on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights they have a late bar until 2:30am. It is one of the nicest pubs in Dublin and well worth checking out.
